3 designers graduating at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute had a difficult time honing down on where to take the collections because they all 3 had different ideas. Their approach was:  “it’s just fucking clothes (fucking kleren), why are we even having this discussion?”. So each piece has to stand on it’s on and instead of tying it all together with a common thread they want to celebrate each individual piece’s difference.

OUR ROLE

Studio Selvedge’s job was to film 8 out of the 12 pieces of the “Fucking Klere” collection with split screen editing in mind. We also collaborated with Tim Coenen for the music and all 3 designers were on set to help with styling and background prints. These background prints are also present in the collection itself so it was important to include them in the final movie.
